성경해석학에 대한 이해와 적용 : 마르틴 부버와 가다머를 중심으로
코로나 19 팬데믹은 많은 것들을 새롭게 재조정하고 변화해야 할 도전을 주었다. 성경 중심으로 대면집회를 중시해 온 교회의 모임에 대해 무엇이 신앙의 본질인지 질문을 던져 주었다. 특히, 성경이 우리시대에 해석되고 적용되는 것이 어떤 것인지에 대해서도 새로운 고민을 하게 하였다. 그것은 성경해석공동체인 교회가 사회 속에서 어떤 위치와 역할을 감당해야 하는지도 질문하게 하는 것이다. 이 논문은 성경해석학의 이해와 적용에 관한 것이다. 먼저, 마르틴 부버의 ‘나와 너’를 중심으로 철학적 인간학인 ‘만남’ 개념을 정리하고 ‘공동체’의 가치를 발견한다. 그 다음, 한스 게오르크 가다머의 ‘진리와 방법’을 중심으로 철학적 해석학의 ‘대화’ 개념을 성경해 석학에 접목해 보았다. 선입견, 영향사 의식, 해석학적 순환과 지평융합의 개념이 고전 텍스트로서의 성경이 변화하는 상황에 어떻게 이해 및 적용되는지 필요를 느끼게 한다. 해석학은 실존적 삶의 컨텍스트 속에서 기록된 텍스트를 읽고 이해하는 것이다. 성경해 석학은 특히 성경이 어떻게 해석되고 적용되어야 하는지를 다루는 것이다. 선행연구에서 는 마르틴 부버와 한스게오르크 가다머를 동시에 성경해석학에 적용한 사례를 찾기가 쉽 지 않았고, 이에 필자는 두 철학자의 ‘만남’과 ‘대화’ 개념이 오늘날 성경해석에 어떠한 영 향을 줄 수 있는지 여러 자료들을 비교 분석하고자 한다. 성경은 신앙공동체에 주어진 것 으로 해석은 공동체를 중심으로 가능하며 교회의 사회적 역할을 감당하는 것을 조명한다.
Understanding and Application of Biblical Hermeneutics : Focusing on Martin Buber and Gadamer
The COVID-19 pandemic has given many things new readjustment and challenges to change. In particular, the church’s meeting, which has emphasized face-to-face rallies centered on the Bible, asked the question of what is the nature of faith. In particular, it made me think about what it is like for the Bible to be interpreted and applied in our time. It also asks what position and role the church, a biblical interpretation community, should play in society. This thesis is about the understanding and application of biblical hermeneutics. First, we summarize the concept of “Meeting,” a philosophical of humanics, and discover the value of “Community,” focusing on Martin Buber’s “I and You.” Next, Hans Georg Gadamer’s concept of ‘Conversation’ in philosophical interpretation centered on ‘Truth and Method’ was applied to biblical interpretation. It makes us feel the need for constant reflection and dialogue on how the concept of preconceived notions, influence history consciousness, hermeneutical circulation and horizon fusion is understood and applied to our changing situation today as classical text. Hermeneutics is reading and understanding text recorded in the context of existential life. Biblical hermeneutics specifically deals with how the Bible should be interpreted and applied. In previous studies, it was difficult to find a case in which Martin Buber and Hans Georg Gadamer were applied to biblical analysis at the same time. Therefore, we will look at how the two philosophers’ concepts of ‘meeting’ and ‘conversation’ can affect Bible interpretation today. The Bible is given to the faith community, and the interpretation is possible around the community and sheds light on the social role of the church.
