This study analyzes Fran ois Jullien’s concept of CART (DIVIDE) implied in Jullien's "face to face" relation and discusses its infinite possibilities from the perspective of cultural pluralization. Écart is a condition of existential exploration that occurs when one experiences cracks in one’s own thought while looking at a particular thought from the outside. However, the change possibility of culture through the face-to-face relation causes the open state of the Écart to be reconsidered. The face-to-face relationship presupposing the outside opens the problem of determining what can be built up into the Écart, because the character of the external term that causes disarray in each culture cannot be determined in advance. Therefore, this study examines the multiple possibilities of the interspaces occurring from the development process of the face-to-face through the cart. From this, this study argues that the face-to-face possibilities of each culture are unlimitedly open in the Écart and thus in the interspaces of cultures is implied the possibility of multiple links of language-thought.
