The essay is an attempt to excavating the philosophy of Chinese medicine in the dynasties of Jin and Yuan. The point is Zhu Zhenheng's doctrine of Xianghuo in the world of life-spirit. The philosophy of Chinese medicine is closely associated with the axiological context of Neo-confucianism in Song-ming dynasties. It provided a significant basis for medical realms of epistemology and methodology to grasp a world of life-spirit from the perspective of organismic thinking way. Chinese medicine was historically classified into Shaman medicine, Daoist medicine, Confucian medicine and Technical medicine. The point of issue is a turn of medicine in dynasties of Jin and Yuan. It is based upon a developing relationship of Daoist medicine and Confucian medicine. It is significant to say that Daoist medicine was not apparently changed into Confucian medicine, but was deeply escalated into Confucian medicine. In this respect, the philosophy of Chinese medicine was characteristic of a variation of Daoist medicine and Confucian medicine. As an integral harmony of the more practical level and the more metaphysical level, a variation of Daoist medicine and Confucian medicine resulted from a convergent unification of knowledge and wisdom in Chinese medicine. There is a process from ecological field to axiological field. In the methodology of Chinese medicine, It is a logical process of elevation from the irreversible world of life appearance to the reversible world of life spirit. Consequently, it is possible to say that a variation of Daoist medicine and Confucian medicine gets a clue to the Dao of Chinese medicine, that is, the ultimate horizon of knowledge and wisdom.
