The essay is an attempt to explicating the view of timely moderation in the principle of change-penetration according to the conception of human management, which plays a role in the work of modernizing the canon of the Book of Changes. What is called human management is closely associated with a practical life based upon a variation of knowledge and wisdom. In the Book of Changes, the actual world is regarded as the reality of change-penetration and the mechanism of timely moderation is working in a process of its reality. Timely moderation is the law for moderate way of harmoniously and orderly changing world . It is a method of emergence and innovation requiring that we recognize, predict, judge, choose, and determine values for life in particular events and cases. The mechanism of timely moderation is revealed in the network of information constituting sixty four Gua based upon the simple unity of Qian Gua and Kun Gua. By means of this mechanism, a human being establishes a guideline for life, then chooses and determines practical activities. Through this mechanism, a human being cultivates his inner virtue and thereby orientates the communal value of identifying personal desires and social ideas, in which the good and the beautiful are in a line of continuity. This is to open a gateway of morality. A gateway of morality, as a way of human management for a valuable life, is to reflect a mature life of a human being, which means a horizon of self-realization that we can creatively change a world of change.
